As well as special expertise in travel medicine, KSGP doctors and staff provide a complete range of general practice services, including: skin cancer assessment and treatment; shared antenatal care; men's health; diving medicals (Dr Daniel); hearing tests; cardiographs; assessment of lung function; insertion and replacement of hormonal & contraceptive implants; childhood health and immunisations; psychological medicine; management of wounds and ulcers. Annual home-based assessments are offered to our patients over 75 years of age.

KSGP is a fully accredited general practice. Our doctors are involved in teaching and examining of general practice standards. All doctors are enthusiastic participants in continuing medical education, including regular clinical meetings at our own practice. Nursing and management staff also participate in regular ongoing professional development activities.

Travel Medicine and Vaccination

Travel medicine is more than just a having a few injections. Our doctor will need to carefully consider your medical history, lifestyle, present state of health, likely itinerary and type of accommodation.

KSGP is an accredited Practice which has been providing travel medicine advice and vaccinations for over 15 years. Our fully trained medical staff, are members of the International Travel Medicine Society, which gives us access to up to date travel information as conditions change in other countries.

• We stock a complete range of travel vaccines including Yellow Fever, Japanese B Encephalitis, Rabies and Hepatitis vaccines.
• We also provide insect repellents, mosquito net treatments, DEET sunscreen and other important travel accessories available at a reduced rate.
• Our doctor can also supply you with a travel pack. This contains important travel health care information, dressings and medications specifically designed for overseas travel.

Please note, that our reception staff are not trained to provide travel medical advice, and requests for them to do so will be denied.

Please let the receptionist know at the time of booking an appointment that it is for travel advice. You will be booked with a doctor who specialises in this area. You will be asked to bring information on your travel plans, prior immunisations and medical history.
